Singleton Environment Centre provides a range of activities and information for people of all ages, from both the local community and visitors to Ashford.
The eco-centre is run by conservation charity TCV in partnership with Ashford Borough Council, with sustainability at its core.
Rooms in the centre are available for hire to businesses, community groups, voluntary and charity groups, and individuals. Activities at the centre include environmental, conservation and educational activities, fitness classes, arts and entertainment and community events.
The centre is next to John Wesley Primary School and adjoins Ashford Community Woodland. It is free to visit seven days a week where you can go for a walk, learn more about the environment, get involved with environmental volunteering projects or relax with a coffee and a cake.
Footprints Cafe Bistro serves the finest homemade Kentish produce, much of which is sourced from within the borough, and is open to the public from Tues - Sat 9am-5pm. There is also a Sunday Carvery from 12noon - 4pm serving locally reared meats, Kentish seasonal vegetables and delicious homemade desserts. Footprints is also fully licensed and caters for all events held at the centre.
