The Romney,Hythe & Dymchurch Railway runs for almost 14 miles across Kent's Romney Marsh linking the historic town of Hythe with the seaside villages of Dymchurch and St Mary's Bay, the historic Cinque Port of New Romney and on to the special area of coastal interest at Dungeness complete with the lighthouse open to the public most days.
Our all weather coaches provide a comfortable journey. All visitors are recommended to include New Romney, the headquarters of our main line in miniature, where we prepare and maintain the unique fleet of steam and diesel locomotives, and where our famous Model Railway Exhibition is positioned. We have good picnic areas at most stations, with indoor and outdoor play areas at New Romney within the confines of the station.
Open: For opening times and fares please see our website or telephone for details. Single and return fares available. Prices vary depending on the length of journey.
